Darebin City Brass

Preston Band - A Grade

Preston Band is an A Grade band with an outstanding history.

The band regularly performs and competes at local and National events.

Preston is currently looking for a new MD - see Vacancies for more information.

The band rehearses Monday and Thursdays 8pm - 10pm.

Northern Brass - C Grade

Northern Brass was formed in 2006 as the intermediate band for Darebin City Brass. Since then, the band has won the Victorian State Championships in 2006 and 2007, and were the 2007Australian National D Grade Champions!! The band came a close second to Narrabrai in the 2008 Australian Nationals and are now regraded to C Grade. In their first performance in C Grade at the Bendigo Eisteddfod,(1/6/08) the band were victorious by 7 points!

Northern is conducted by Andrew Power, and rehearses Tuesdays 7.30pm.

Darebin Youth Group

Darebin City Brass runs numerous learner and beginner groups at the bandroom during the week and on Saturdays.

Monday 6pm-7pm

Tuesday 6pm-7pm

Wednesday 6pm-7:30pm

Saturday 4pm-5pm

Jack Kelly and George Melitsis co-ordinate these groups.
