Darebin City Brass was proud to host the Festival of Bands at the Darebin Arts Centre, an inspiring day of music and connection designed to give fellow brass bands a chance to showcase their Australian National Band Championships programs in a supportive and enthusiastic environment.
Joining us for the event were talented ensembles from across the community: Western Brass, Northern Brass, Richmond Youth Band, Footscray Yarraville City Band, and Preston Band. Each group brought their unique sound, spirit, and dedication to the stage, treating the audience to a fantastic preview of their championship repertoire.
Beyond the performances, musicians and supporters from across Melbourne came together to offer encouragement, and strengthen bonds within our vibrant brass band community.
The evening wrapped up with a lively dinner at the pub – the perfect way to unwind, connect, and celebrate a day well spent.
