Darebin City Brass is a community-based group of approximately 100 musicians whose purpose is ‘To give Brass and Percussion musicians an organisation that welcomes all backgrounds and levels of musical ability, with ensembles endeavouring to perform to their best and serve the community of Darebin through the gift of music.’

The three brass bands of Darebin City Brass (Preston Band, Northern Brass and Youth Training Band) cater for all ability levels, from beginner, to developing player, to the upper echelon of banding in Australia.
